Estimator (Commercial Plumbing)

We are currently seeking an Estimator with at least 5 years of experience and familiarity with Trimble software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating within the commercial construction industry, with a specific focus on Plumbing/HVAC. • Prepare accurate and detailed project estimates for construction projects
• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop cost‑effective solutions
• Conduct site visits and gather necessary information to accurately estimate project costs
• Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to determine project budget
• Create and submit timely and competitive bids for construction projects
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Provide support and guidance to project teams regarding cost control measures

• At least five (5) years of experience preferred in Plumbing and/or HVAC
• Proven experience in construction estimating or project management specific to HVAC and Plumbing
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Knowledge of estimating software, strong computer skills including Microsoft 365 applications
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating project costs
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
