ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE:
Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance and pricing processes for all areas of the store. Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by supporting pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Execute daily tasks to achieve goals aligned with business priorities: receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures where certified.
• Perform processes including changing prices, merchandise setup and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues for guests and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking and packing orders or delivering pickup orders) while maintaining compliance with laws and policies.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times).

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders when required.
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely; ability to lift up to 44 pounds without additional assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
• Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
