- Maintenance Planner / Scheduler - Day Shift role. This is a full‑time, Monday‑Friday day shift position located at Cat BB, with a competitive hourly pay range of $25.00‑$34.00 and an up to $5,000 sign‑on bonus for experienced planners and schedulers.

Key Responsibilities- Develop, organize, and maintain comprehensive maintenance schedules that align with operational priorities and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance tasks, ensuring equipment and machinery are regularly serviced and meet performance standards.
- Schedule corrective maintenance tasks in response to equipment failures, ensuring quick response times and minimal operational disruption.
- Collaborate with maintenance supervisors, technicians, and other departments to align work schedules with operational needs and available resources.
- Manage planning and preparation of maintenance work orders, ensuring all necessary parts, tools, and personnel are detailed.
- Track maintenance work progress, provide regular updates, and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
- Ensure all required materials, tools, and equipment are available for planned maintenance tasks.
- Analyze maintenance performance metrics and use data to improve scheduling and operational efficiency.
- Generate maintenance reports and metrics for management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in developing maintenance budgets and forecasting labor, parts, and materials costs.

- High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree or technical certification in maintenance management, industrial engineering, or related field preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or coordination in a manufacturing or facility maintenance environment.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance (PM) practices and work order systems.
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or similar scheduling software.
- Familiarity with maintenance metrics and KPIs such as downtime, MTBF, and MTTR.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, work orders, and blueprints.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and equipment in a maintenance context.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, facilities management, or related field.
- Certification in Maintenance Planning or Scheduling (e.g., SMRP).
- Experience with building automation systems (BAS) or CMMS platforms like SAP, Maximo.
- Project management experience in planning and scheduling maintenance or capital improvement projects.
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to optimize maintenance processes.
- Proficiency in CMMS for managing work orders and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
