Job Summary
Function as primary person responsible for receiving supplies and parts, checking packing slips and other receiving documents for accuracy of shipment and be familiar with purchase order creation procedures as back up.
Essential FunctionsMaintain parts inventory levels and organization in storeroom, back up supply area, and specific machine areas as necessary. Coordinate purchases, part identification and sourcing with vendors as needed supporting Purchasing Clerk in those endeavors.
Other DutiesDistribution of supplies at approximate inventory levels adjusting as needed & notifying Purchasing when shortages exist
Input supply requisitions for dept into MMS ensuring accuracy or picks, orders & deliveries
Stock shelves in both Storeroom and Distribution and notifies supervisor of any shortages or overages
Rotates stock to assure products are used before expiration period
Be willing to correct any unsafe conditions or report those you cannot correct
Have a can-do attitude, being self- sufficient, self- motivated & proactive
Willingness to learn new tasks and take on additional assignments when needed
Participates in annual physical inventory

Minimum Education / CertificationsHigh School Diploma
Minimum Work ExperienceAt least 6 months of experience in warehousing or office work preferred
Position Type / Expected Hours of WorkMust be willing to work holidays and provide additional coverage as needed

The salary range does not include bonuses / incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation which can be discussed in detail with your talent acquisition specialist.
The salary / hourly rate range for this position is : $18 / hr-$20 / hr
