Certified Home Health Aide HHA

Join Homewatch of South Orange as a Staff Caregiver.

You will be guaranteed 40 hours of pay per week!!

Members of this team will be guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours of pay each week whether you have an assignment or not. There will be no limit to the number of hours worked and all hours over 40 in a week will be paid at overtime rates.

These caregivers must be capable of walking into any client situation and delivering a high-quality experience for the client or clients. These caregivers are assigned as needed by the scheduling team within the allocated work hours. Their schedules will likely include a combination of regular clients and fill in shifts.

• Rate $18.00 an hour, $20.00 on weekends

• Must have a vehicle & be willing to drive clients locally as requested
• Must be available to work Monday thru Friday from 7AM to 7PM and every other weekend from 8AM to 8PM
• Must be willing to accept all cases as assigned within the designated hours
• Have experience working with a range of clients that have differing needs (dementia, transfers, supervision, etc.)
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID
• Must receive an annual flu shot
• Must be able to assist with basic transfers
• MUST be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be reliable, compassionate, flexible and a team player
• 1+ year of prior experience as a Caregiver, preferred but not required

• MUST have current New Jersey HHA Certification
• Two (2) forms of r's License, Social Security card, etc.
• Step 1 PPD, Chest X-ray or QuantiFERON
