Pay & Benefits
  • LPN: $33.99 - $35.02/hr
  • RN: $41.20 - $42.23/hr
  • Shift Differentials: 2nd / 3rd shift & weekends
  • Sign‑On Bonus: $7,500 (Full‑Time, paid over 1 year)

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate RN or LPN to provide direct nursing care and supervise day‑to‑day activities of Nursing Assistants. This role ensures the highest quality care is delivered in compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Supervise Nursing Assistants and support staff, planning shift activities and services.
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
  • Complete and maintain required documentation for admissions, transfers, discharges, and charting.
  • Receive and transcribe physician orders; administer medications and treatments.
  • Perform professional services such as catheterization, tube feedings, wound care, and IV care.
  • Monitor staff compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy of resident health information.
  • Provide leadership in creating a warm, calm, and resident‑focused environment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team, and other departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in Illinois.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Experience in long‑term care preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and manage stress effectively.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry at least 25 lbs up to 5 feet high and 50 feet distance.
  • Ability to assist in resident evacuation during emergencies.
  • Must meet facility health requirements, including medical and physical exams.
