Position Details

Shift Details

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Shift Differentials

  • $0.75/hour for 2nd shift
  • $0.50/hour for 3rd shift
  • $1.00/hour for weekend shifts

Pay & Incentives

  • Starting Pay: $22.15 – $24.21 per hour (plus shift differentials)
  • CNA Experience & Promotion Incentives
  • Daily Pay Available

Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct resident care and assistance with activities of daily living while promoting resident safety, comfort, dignity, and overall well-being.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with meals, feeding, and hydration
  • Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, and showers
  • Assist with ambulation, transfers, turning, and positioning
  • Monitor and document vital signs, weights, intake, and output
  • Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
  • Document care accurately per facility policies
  • Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
  • Follow professional standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in ongoing education and training
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Current Illinois CNA Certification
  • Long-term care experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Visual and auditory ability sufficient for written and verbal communication
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment (Reasonable accommodations may be made)
