Location:

Base pay range: $33.99/hr – $41.20/hr
• LPN: $33.99/hr
• RN: $41.20/hr
SummaryIn need of a LPN or RN who will provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

- Direct the day‑to‑day functions of the nursing assistants; plan shift services, make written & oral reports, admit, transfer, and discharge residents, and lead nursing staff.
- Complete & file required record‑keeping forms/charts at admission, transfer, and discharge; transcribe telephone orders from physicians; chart nurse’s notes; file accident/incident reports and follow charting policies.
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
- Develop & maintain good rapport with inter‑departmental personnel; create a warm, positive, calm environment; deliver nursing reports at shift start and end; make rounds with physicians as needed.
- Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feedings, suction, dressing changes, colostomy care, blood draws, massages, and range‑of‑motion exercises.
- Monitor personnel to ensure adherence to safety regulations regarding equipment and supplies.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident care information, report suspected disclosure incidents, and ensure privacy by knocking before entering rooms.
- Provide IV and IV site care as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state licensure.
- Licensed Practical Nurse with current unencumbered state licensure.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing & medical practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing care facilities.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Experience in long‑term care is preferred.
- Be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
- Be able to cope with the mental & emotional stress of the position.
- Meet general health requirements including a medical & physical examination.
- Be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a height of 5 feet and carry that weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
- Assist in evacuation of residents during emergency situations as necessary.
