Ridgewood Elementary is seeking applicants for a Security Monitor.

Qualification Requirements:

Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with district staff and students

Ability to enforce school rules in a firm, consistent, and cordial manner

Certification of good health signed by a licensed physician

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

Work Year - All student attendance days during the school year
Work Day - 7 hour work day
Holidays and Paid Time Off - Sick, Personal, and Holiday pay in accordance with Board Policy 5:330 - Educational Support Personnel.
Employee benefits in accordance with District policy for full-time staff
Starting wage: $16.86/hour

FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt/Hourly

The attached job description is for a middle school security monitor. With the district's transition to a larger student population at Ridgewood Elementary in the  school year, the administration has identified a need for a security monitor at Ridgewood Elementary. A new job description which removes the reference to middle school will be presented to the Board of Education at an upcoming meeting.
