Grocery Clerk; PT

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Grocery Clerk for our East Meadow location and are looking to hire immediately. Grocery Clerks play a key role in ensuring our store is fully stocked, organized, and welcoming for our customers. This position is responsible for stocking shelves, rotating product, monitoring inventory, and maintaining accurate pricing and labeling in compliance with all company policies and applicable NYS, federal, and local regulations.

• Stock and replenish grocery shelves as directed by the Department Manager
• Safely and accurately restock merchandise
• Ensure products are front-facing, organized, and properly rotated
• Monitor inventory levels and shelf life of products
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and assist customers in locating items
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-stocked sales floor
• Work collaboratively with team members to support department operations
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous grocery or retail experience is a plus
• Ability to safely lift and carry items weighing 30 pounds or more
• Physically able to perform repetitive movements, including bending, reaching, climbing, and standing for extended periods
• Comfortable working on ladders and in confined spaces when needed
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn product locations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to speak, read, and understand English
