Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse (RN) to oversee wound assessment, treatment, and prevention for residents in a skilled nursing setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, treat, and monitor acute and chronic wounds
- Develop and manage individualized wound care plans
- Perform wound treatments and track healing outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate staff on wound prevention and best practices
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist with audits
- Active New York State RN license required
- Prior wound care experience preferred
- Long-term care or hospital experience preferred
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Salary range: $85,000.00 – $ per year
