Position highlights

As a Correctional Phlebotomist, you will be:

  • Performing a variety of routine specimen collection and laboratory procedures;
  • Directly interacting with the inmate population;
  • Encouraging compliance with ordered labs and forensic DNA collection;
    Interacting with immune-compromised individuals;
  • Other duties as assigned.

This unique population requires skills necessary to draw from those with habitual IV drug use and other conditions.

This position is full-time on first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
