Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour

Schedule: Monday and Sunday, 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

As a Security Officer – Night Patrol at East Longmeadow, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as commercial real estate. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that deters security‑related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and onsite staff, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care.

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, loading and receiving areas, and building perimeter, looking for unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues that may impact operations.
• Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or authorization as required, managing visitor check‑in processes, and directing guests to appropriate areas while following site rules.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including documenting actions taken and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete timely security‑related reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation; communicate key updates during shift transitions.

• Have at least 1+ year of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
