At Chestnut Hill is currently accepting applications for a full-time, 40 hr/week Maintenance Director.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have management experience in Long Term Care Nursing Home.
- Must have knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment.
- Must know how to turn off main power supply, water supply, and/or gas supply to facility.
- Must be able to see small details in equipment, machinery, etc.
- Must be knowledgeable of Exposure Control Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens and Fire & Disaster Plan, and follow policies and procedures.
- Responsible for budget, accounts payable, department employees, reports and required documentation.
- Responsible for Preventative Maintenance program and ensures compliance according to local, state and federal regulations.
- Maintains all facility equipment in a safe and functioning manner.
- Maintains furnishings and grounds, plumbing and electrical fixtures.
- Responsible for fire safety.
- Participates in Quality Improvement and Department Head meetings.
