Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an Equipment Technician to join our team in Eastern Cape on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of equipment to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to identify and address any issues in a timely manner
– Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic problems with the equipment
– Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns
– Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs
– Coordinate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient work flow
– Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

– Proven experience as an Equipment Technician or similar role
– Technical certification or diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering
– Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Information:
– The position is based in Eastern Cape, South Africa
– This is a temporary contract position with the possibility of extension
– The successful candidate may be required to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
