Health Safety and Environment Officer

Key Qualifications & Skills

• National Diploma or Degree in Safety Management, Environmental Management, or a related field
• SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, or equivalent HSE certification (advantageous)
• Sound knowledge of OHSA, environmental legislation, and ISO standards (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001)
• Experience with in a manufacturing or automotive production environment
• Strong risk assessment, incident investigation, and auditing skills
• Ability to conduct safety training and toolbox talks
• High attention to detail with strong reporting and documentation skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement across all levels of the organisation
