Chief Financial Officer (CFO) required for a company based in East London

Seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a leading company in the mining industry. The desired candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the COO to drive strategic financial leadership across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the company’s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Provide strategic financial advice and support to senior leadership, enabling informed decision-making.
• Lead the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Implement and monitor financial controls, cost management strategies, and process improvements.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
• Play a key role in the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy to support long-term growth.

Requirements:

• Relevant Qualifications: CA(SA) ESSENTIAL
• Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial leader in the mining or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, corporate governance, and risk management.
• Ability to provide strategic direction and manage a high-performing finance team.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team.
