Accountant, Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting

Location: East London, Eastern Cape (Remote applicants from Port Elizabeth will also be considered)
Salary: Market-related (R25,000 R35,000 per month, depending on experience)

We are a well-established Property Management and Accounting Services firm based in East London, providing professional financial and property management solutions to a growing client base. We pride ourselves on service excellence, integrity, and precision in all aspects of our work.

We are seeking a qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting knowledge and practical experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounting function, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting property management operations.

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
• Completed SAICA Articles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
• South African citizen or holder of valid South African work permit

• Manage full accounting functions, including journals, reconciliations, and month-end processes
• Prepare financial statements and management reports in accordance with accounting standards
• Process and reconcile property-related transactions and accounts
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis
• Maintain accurate records and support audit preparation
• Liaise with clients, tenants, and suppliers regarding financial matters
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Support property management operations with financial insights and reporting
• Experience with in the property management or real estate sector
• Working knowledge of property management systems such as MRI or MDA

• Market-related salary between R25,000 to R35,000 per month
