The Registered Nurse/Clinical Coordinator provides direct care in the outpatient wound care clinic and manages the clinical program from a staffing, PI and HR perspective. May also provide direct care in the acute inpatient setting. Communicates with providers and supervises clinical and hyperbaric staff as appropriate regarding changes in the patient’s treatment and clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies. Must be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Qualifications- Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state.
- BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
- Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Previous wound care/hyperbaric knowledge and/or experience preferred (1 year).
- Wound care certification within first two years of hire; maintains hyperbaric competency.
