This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Pay:
Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is recruiting for a Psychiatrist. The Psychiatrist will function in Psychiatry Service. The major duties include, but are not limited to:
* Maintains broad program manager responsibility for the Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program within VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System (VANEOHS).
* Conducts ongoing program evaluation and data-driven quality improvement projects that monitor the effectiveness of clinical operations within the BHIP Program,.
* Develops policies and procedures and may also develop performance standards, position descriptions and functional statements.
* Monitors and reports to Office of the ACOS regarding status of Mental Health Performance Measures for the Medical Center.
* Performs psychiatric evaluations on a diverse population, including geriatric and post-deployment combat Veterans.
* Monitors work performance of direct reports to ensure that requirements are satisfied.
* Diagnoses and treats medical diseases consistent with general medical education and training.
* Delivers pharmacological (including clozapine, buprenorphine, naloxone, and ketamine) and psychotherapeutic treatment of psychiatry disorders as specified in DSM 5.
* Participates in the supervision and teaching or psychiatric trainees, which may be students, residents, or fellows.

Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm
