Title:
Assistant Women's Soccer Coach
MSU Athletics is searching for an assistant women's soccer coach to assist in all areas of running a highly successful Big Ten Women's Soccer program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities- Assist in all phases of the recruitment of highly qualified student-athletes.
- Identify, evaluate, communicate and develop relationships with coaches, recruits, and parents while adhering to all NCAA rules
- Scout, game plan and communicate effectively within a highly competitive league.
- Assist the Head Coach in practice planning and the implementation of training for maximum learning and progress of student-athletes
- Work collaboratively with all members of staff.
- Participate in all phases of a collegiate program including camp coordination and administration, academics, marketing, fund raising, social media, etc.
- Utilize software used by Michigan State including Teamworks, Front Rush and other database systems.
- Other duties as assigned by the head coach to support the women’s soccer program.

EducationRequired Degree: Bachelors
Desired Degree: Masters
Minimum Requirements- Minimum of two years of experience training goalkeepers at the collegiate or expert level.
- Bachelors required
- Demonstrated ability to recruit high level athletes.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to academic goals and student athlete welfare.
- Understand and contribute to the teamwork necessary within a coaching staff for optimal performance.
- Ability to work well with student-athletes, coaches, administrators, faculty, alumni, and staff.
- Knowledge and adherence to NCAA rules, MSU regulations, and the Big Ten policies and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Master’s degree preferred.
