Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians perform service, repairs, and installation associated with fire sprinkler systems and other water-based equipment in accordance with all national and local standards. Our Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians’ specialized skills, knowledge of state/federal regulations, and commitment to proper system functioning play a critical role in safeguarding lives, property, and businesses from the devastating effects of fires.

• Install, repair, and maintain wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, backflow prev enters, fire hydrants, and fire pumps
• Perform fire sprinkler, fire pump, and other water-based equipment inspections and testing
• Properly document deficiencies/impairments noted during inspections or service work and follow required process of reporting deficiencies on-site
• Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all work performed
• Maintain vehicle stock, tools, and equipment; follow corporate policies related to vehicle use and care

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in the installation and/or repair of water-based equipment
• Ability and willingness to work in a variety of environments around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment; work in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with installation and repair of water-based equipment
• High school diploma, state-recognized GED, associate, or bachelor's degree preferred

Salary range information: $56,000 – $96,000
