Quality Supervisor - East Lansing Area

Salary Range: $66,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

• Supervise and train quality inspection personnel to ensure adherence to standards.
• Ensure strict compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO) and customer specifications.
• Oversee and manage incoming, in-process, and final product inspection activities.
• Lead investigations into non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate quality records, documentation, and generate performance reports.
• Participate in and support internal and external quality audits.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

• 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and industry-specific quality standards.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and 8D problem-solving.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Certified Internal or Lead Auditor (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
