Customer Service Representative

Hacker-King-Sherry Agency Inc. (HKS) is an Independent Insurance Agency that partners with a diverse range of established insurance carriers, including Auto Owners, Citizens/Hanover, Michigan Insurance, Michigan Millers Mutual, and Pioneer State Mutual. The agency specializes in offering comprehensive Personal Insurance, Commercial Insurance, Life & Health Insurance, and Annuities. HKS is dedicated to providing customized insurance solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of its clients.

This is a full-time Customer Service Representative role located on-site in East Lansing, MI. The representative will assist customers by providing support with policy inquiries, helping resolve issues, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring positive customer experiences. Additional responsibilities include maintaining customer records, processing information accurately, and collaborating with the team to deliver exceptional service daily.

• Strong skills in Customer Service, Customer Support, and maintaining Customer Satisfaction
• Proficiency in enhancing Customer Experience and addressing customer needs effectively
• Ability to work collaboratively and professionally within a team
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with standard office software and ability to quickly learn agency tools
• Previous experience in insurance or related fields is a plus but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications are a bonus
