Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator in East Lansing, MI. Duties:
- Support the Accounts Payable Supervisor with day-to-day activities, including people management, issue resolution, and regular status updates.
- Assist Coordinator I's with more complex invoicing and reconciliations.
- System administrator for the AP invoice processing system, which includes:
- Access administration: add new users and remove terminated users.
- Maintain the delegation of authority within the system.
- Maintain GL coding.
- Develop and maintain documentation of standard operating procedures and training; ensure documents are up to date and reflect best practice.
- Investigate and resolve issues with virtual vendor payments.
- Research and reconcile Unvouchered Receipts and Vendor Prepayments each month to ensure timely resolution with other departments and implement new processes when necessary.
- High School diploma/GED with related accounting experience, preferably with emphasis on Accounts Payable.
- Accounting degree a plus.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
