Inside Sales Rep

East Hartford, CT - Wattsaver Lighting Products, a 35-year-old lighting distributor in East Hartford is searching for an Inside Sales Support Representative to join our team. We are a sales and service-oriented organization in the competitive and rapidly evolving environment of energy efficient lighting systems and supplies. This position offers room for growth within the company.

• Work with Outside Sales Team to provide support and service to existing accounts
• Enter sales orders in ERP system, including verification of rebate products
• Expedite purchase orders by contacting vendors to track the products from order to delivery
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Input lighting project data into models to produce reports
• Update database with relevant product specifications, certifications, and pricing
• Ensure accuracy of input data into lighting payback analysis
• Track project progress, report and maintain project timelines
• Quickly resolve customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
• Obtain or enhance product and technical knowledge in the lighting industry

• Previous lighting industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to operate multiple simultaneous projects
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Goal oriented, self-motivated with a strong work ethic
