Overview

Are you seeking a fulfilling role where you can truly impact the lives of individuals with disabilities? The State of Connecticut, Department of Developmental Services (DDS) – North Region – is accepting applications for a full-time, first shift Developmental Services Transition Advisor in Individual and Family Support (Self-Determination/ Advocacy) located in East Hartford. This position will provide consultation and assistance around the application of Self-Advocacy, Self-Determination, Self-Direction, Education, Value Based Decision Making, Employment, Person Centered Planning, Peer to Peer Supports, and Assistive Technology to individuals with developmental disabilities, their families and legal guardians, and DDS Qualified Provider agencies.

    First (1st) Shift - full time (37.5 hours/week)
  • SCHEDULE:

    Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm | Regular Days Off:
    Saturday & Sunday

Must be flexible to meet the needs of the agency. Will be required to travel and transport individuals between multiple locations to various CT-based groups, meetings, offices, presentations, special events, etc.
