Project Engineer – Systems & Product Change (War on Cost)
Salary Range: $55,000 – $68,000 (commensurate with experience)

About the Role War on Cost is seeking a Project Engineer to support Systems and Product Change and Production Incorporation reviews for aircraft engine systems and components. This role is responsible for facilitating technical reviews, ensuring compliance with engineering and regulatory requirements, and driving quality and reliability outcomes across cross‑functional teams. The Project Engineer serves as a key coordination point between systems engineering, product engineering, manufacturing, and program stakeholders, ensuring reviews are executed efficiently and actions are driven to closure.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate and support execution of systems, product design change, and production incorporation reviews
- Coordinate with systems, product engineering, and manufacturing Integrated Product Team (IPT) members to identify reviewers, schedule reviews, and host review sessions
- Participate in technical reviews to ensure requirements, standards, and objectives are met
- Capture and distribute meeting minutes, action items, and attendance records
- Update and maintain electronic product and configuration management databases
- Process workflow requests for post-review actions in accordance with established engineering standard work
- Monitor, track, and drive closure of review actions and requirements, working with responsible stakeholders to ensure completeness and regulatory compliance
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers to support timely execution of reviews
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related technical field, or 1–3 years of relevant experience in a related industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic databases
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present and facilitate meetings
- Ability to host and manage reviews using electronic collaboration tools and efficiently track multiple concurrent requests
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Experience with aircraft and/or aircraft engine engineering processes
- Experience working within PDM, PLM, or ERP systems as a Project Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or related role
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Teamcenter PLM, and SAP ERP systems
- Prior experience supporting engineering change, configuration management, or production incorporation activities
