Our client, a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, is looking for a motivated Lab Assistant to join their dynamic team in East Grinstead. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on laboratory experience and develop valuable skills within a world-class organisation.

06:30–18:30 (9.25 hours/day), including weekends

What You'll Be Doing- Preparing solutions in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Setting up and monitoring production dispensing pumps to ensure timely, high-quality outputs
- Carrying out compliance checks on laboratory equipment and instrumentation
- Managing raw material stock levels and ensuring smooth lab workflow
- Washing and autoclaving equipment to maintain high hygiene standards
- Using software such as SAP ERP and Microsoft Office for data processing
- A-level (or equivalent) qualification in a scientific subject (preferred)
- The ability to follow SOPs and adhere to health & safety guidelines
- Strong teamwork and clear communication
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and good manual dexterity
- Previous laboratory experience – especially in fast-paced manufacturing – would be an advantage
