Pet Care Specialist - Professional Pet Sitter​/Dog Walker

Overview

Furry Fellas is now hiring for 2 Part Time to Full Time pet care specialists. East Greenwich RI & surrounding.

Will start out Part Time and can gradually increase to Full Time if all works out well or can remain at Part Time if desired.

Hours: Availability during at least 2 of our 4 time frames. Time frames are:
Morning 7-10am, Afternoon 11-3pm, Evening 4-6pm, Night 7-9pm.

Please note:

the most consistent jobs occur during the 10am-3:30pm hours.

Services will include: pet care, dog walking, pet sitting.

Compensation:
Hourly + mileage + gratuities. There is also an option for per-visit pay

Seeking experienced pet care professionals. Own transportation, smartphone, daily internet access, and ability to pass a background check are required.

• You have reliable transportation, own a smartphone, can work well independently and have good communication/customer service skills.

Our staff is held to a high level of professionalism, and everyone has prior experience working or volunteering with animals. We are committed to providing pet parents and their furry children with the highest quality of care possible.

• Get paid to exercise and spend time outdoors with dogs or indoors with cats/other small animals.
• Flexible schedule. You make your schedule. Availability should be clearly communicated in advance and updated as soon as you know of any changes. Commitments should be kept once you accept pet-sitting assignments.
• Work from your home base / take your dog to work where applicable.
• Continuing education & certificate programs (2-3 paid certifications available depending on hours).
• Birthday, holiday & referral bonuses.

• Daily interactions with furry clients and the satisfaction of doing meaningful work.

• Visit client homes to care for their companions while they are at work or on vacation.
• Walk/exercise dogs, provide bathroom breaks, give love and attention, may include feeding, medicating, providing fresh water, and cleaning up after animals (litter boxes, etc.).
• Leave a note for clients after each visit detailing how visits went.

Hourly ($16-$18 depending on experience) + mileage + tips. There is also an option for per-visit pay.
