RXinsider is seeking a VP to lead and grow our new Market Intelligence Group (INTEL). This is a unique opportunity for an individual who desires a small company environment, a startup atmosphere, has an entrepreneurial spirit, and is truly passionate about pharmacy. RXinsider has spent the last two years developing and launching our INTEL Group and the Professional Development Package (PDP) product that the group manages.
We are now seeking an energetic, inspirational, and effective leader to make the PDP a must‑have for every company serving the pharmacy market.
The INTEL Group performs market research on the pharmacy operations segment of the supply chain, as well as the Pharmacy
500 companies within it. Through our Weekly Market Reports, weekly newsletters (The Weekly Dose), and online training (The Pharmacy
500 Academy), the INTEL Group educates professionals and pharmacy management on the news, concepts, trends, products, and services impacting pharmacy operations, with a heavy emphasis on pharmacy technology.
This VP role is office‑based in East Greenwich, RI, and is not a remote, hybrid, or work‑from‑home opportunity. Expect to travel to national pharmacy conferences 2-5 times a year.
The CompanyFounded in 1999, RXinsider is a pharmacist‑owned and operated communications and market intelligence company focused on pharmacy operations and the companies supporting dispensing pharmacies. Through our publications, digital platforms, market research, and training resources, RXinsider educates pharmacy management and market professionals on the products, services, and trends that impact pharmacy operations across the supply chain.
Responsibilities:- Lead RXinsider’s Market Intelligence Group, including growth strategy, product management, marketing, sales, client success/support, personnel, client retention, and the P&L.
- Establish yourself as a company leader, and work hand in hand with the VP of RXinsider’s MARCOM Group.
- Lead and manage an initial team of five – four pharmacy market analysts (PMAs) and a marketing manager.
- Serve as the sales lead for the Market Intelligence Group’s product:
The Professional Development Package. - Ensure the data and information the Market Intelligence team sources, aggregates, and presents is timely, relevant, and accurate.
- Establish one‑on‑one relationships and trust with industry influentials, key executives at companies and associations, as well as with deans at colleges of pharmacy.
- Ensure your team members meet deadlines, stay focused, and deliver high‑quality work.

- Pharm
D or BS in pharmacy - MBA preferred
- 5 years in pharmacy
- Proven B2B sales, marketing, and account management success
- 5 years of experience in managing teams
- The ability and desire to wear many hats
- Strong technology skills and experience with the Google G Suite
- Experience in ZOOM and Salesforce is highly preferred
- Possess a natural curiosity and an inclination to dig into details
- Ability to multitask and work under deadlines
- Must be exceptionally well organized with the ability to prioritize
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A team player with a positive attitude
