Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in East Grand Forks, MN, for an Asphalt QC Technician. The Asphalt QC Technician will conduct quality control tests on HMA and aggregate, data entry for quality assurance processes, and manage laboratory tasks. Responsibilities include testing samples for compliance with specifications, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, and analyzing test results to ensure consistent and high-quality production standards in alignment with applicable specifications.

Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical Skills necessary for assessing data accuracy and compliance to specifications
  • Ability to self-motivate and perform job functions independently
  • Communicate effectively in any situation
  • Proficiency in Laboratory Skills, including MnDOT, NDDOT and AASHTO testing methods and processes
  • Experience with operating and maintaining Laboratory Equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • All training will be provided, those with limited or no experience are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in asphalt testing, construction, or QC is a plus
  • Strong organizational skill
