CNC Milling Machinist – 2nd Shift

Aerospace / High-Precision Manufacturing

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Pay: $28 – $38/hour + 15% shift differential (DOE)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to join our 2nd-shift team in a high-precision manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a machinist with multi-axis milling experience who takes pride in producing tight-tolerance parts and enjoys working with advanced materials and modern equipment.

Your Expertise
  • 5 years of experience in an aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environment preferred
  • 3+ years of experience operating CNC multi-axis milling machines
  • Experience setting up jobs and performing changeovers on CNC equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with solid mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication skills and proven problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based manufacturing environment
Your Challenge (What You’ll Be Doing)
  • Operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling machines (and turning machines where applicable)
  • Utilize Fanuc controls
    , making offsets as required by the program
  • Run multiple machines simultaneously where feasible within manufacturing cells
  • Machine hard metals including Inconel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel
  • Read and interpret CNC programs, tool sheets, and operation sheets at the machine
  • Set up tools and fixtures for production runs
  • Load parts and fixtures using hoists and safely position parts on machines
  • Use precision measuring tools including gauges, swing gauges, calipers, and micrometers
  • Operate and work with Right-Angle Heads
  • Apply GD&T knowledge to ensure parts meet print requirements
  • Hold tight tolerances to the thousandths consistently
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
