FULL TIME POSITION w/ SIGNING BONUS $20,000 POSITION &

PURPOSE:

You will report to the Medical Director of Anesthesia, function as a member of the Anesthesia team, and deliver anesthesia to the surgical patient. You have necessary knowledge to prepare and maintain a safe and sterile environment, assess the health needs of patients in a manner that supports the Standards of Nursing Care; and perform other related duties as assigned.

You are qualified to care for infant, child adolescent, adult, and geriatric surgical patient. You display a high regard for human life and respect the dignity, uniqueness, worth and right for each individual.

• Performs pre-anesthesia assessment and evaluation in conjunction with anesthesiologist, communicate accurate information of care plan
• Applies basic and nonverbal communication skills to identify patient and reduce anxiety when necessary
• Maintenance of the physiological integrity of the patient during anesthesia including management of medical emergencies and documents intra-operative care.
• Post anesthesia evaluation and follow up as deemed necessary by Medical Director of Anesthesiology.
• Communicates with PACU or discharge unit for continuity of care
• Maintains appropriate CPR and ACLS certification consistent with department hospital policy
• Meets standards for attendance and punctuality
• Demonstrates reliability and commitment
• Understands and initiates actions to assist department goals when volume increases or decreases.
• Seeks and accepts opportunities to further knowledge and skills
• Adapts to changing environment, job assignments, priorities and schedules.
• Presents professional image at all times
• Respects privacy of patients, guests and coworkers.

Signing Bonus = $20,000

Recent Grad: $125/hour
