Job Duties
- Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul equipment and perform preventative and predictable maintenance tasks
- Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem solving on process and packaging equipment
- Effectively communicate with operators, peers, supervisors, and all levels of management
- Provide support where needed and complete all duties assigned by team leader
- Adhere to all safety policies including Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO), confined space procedures and all other plant safety policies
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is necessary
- 1-3 years in manufacturing industry is preferred. If applicants do not have manufacturing experience, on‑the‑job training will be offered.
- Previous machine operation, material handling, production or other warehouse related experience is mandatory.
- Basic math, measurement, computer skills, and ability to follow directions.
- NMP employees must be able to repeatedly lift up to 10lbs and occasionally lift up to 30lbs as needed.
- Ability to follow all safety and health regulations
