SUMMARY:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing resident care and support in all activities of daily living and ensures the health, welfare and safety of all residents.

• Assist our residents with activities of daily living including but not limited to meal services, showers and grooming, assistance with ambulation and toileting, patient safety, and charting
• Document all patient care in the electronic medical record system (PCC).
• Provide assistance with maintaining residents environment clean and organize.
• Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight; recording intake and output information.
• Protect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA guidelines and related laws.
• Promote the highest level of customer experience at all times when interacting with family members, visitors, and co-workers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with the laws of the state of practice.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
