Full-Time Nursing Faculty (AS Program) – Exempt faculty
Start Date:
August 18, 2025
Salary: $55,000-$60,000 (9-month contract) with potential for summer/overload pay
Benefits:

Employment:
Contingent on passing a background check
- Deliver assigned classes using pedagogy and technology that support student learning, in accordance with college loading policy, course objectives, and program learning outcomes.
- Develop and maintain curriculum and supporting course materials aligned with course objectives and program outcomes.
- Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
- Manage a classroom environment conducive to student learning in compliance with federal, state, and college safety standards.
- Facilitate student achievement of expected program learning outcomes.
- Use Learning Management System (e.g., Canvas) to facilitate teaching, learning, assessment, and communication.
- Provide academic-related coaching and monitoring to assigned student advisees in partnership with professional advising staff.
- Monitor and document student performance, provide interventions including tutoring and referrals to college resources.
- Maintain posted office hours and student engagement hours per campus expectations and loading policy.
- Promote and assist in student recruitment, retention, and successful completion of programs via outreach and communications.
- Participate in professional development activities to advance instructional and technical skills.
- Engage in scholarly activities related to the discipline as required for performance plans and licensure.
- Stay current in contemporary pedagogy and educational technology.
- Participate in community service activities to advance the college’s relationships within its service area.
- Develop community/industry contacts to support college relationships within the service area.
- Provide institutional support as requested (e.g., committees, accreditation projects, grants).
- Engage with Corporate College and Ivy Tech Foundations.
- Attend commencements and participate as assigned; participate in college meetings and career services/alumni activities.
- Support program/department chair in program management activities.
- Review and analyze program data related to completion and retention.
- Lead action steps to positively impact retention.
- Support development of student internships and other experiential learning opportunities.
- Ensure quality of discipline-specific dual credit courses within local high schools.

Qualifications- Be a Registered Nurse with at least 3 years of experience in the field.
- Hold a current, unencumbered Indiana RN license.
- Master's degree in nursing is preferred.
