The Assistant General Manager will report directly to the General Manager, and help administer all aspects of the operation. The Assistant General Manager will coordinate/administer the property’s policies and procedures as defined by the property’s ownership and/or Troon.

Responsibilities include:- Works closely with the General Manager to plan and develop programs that appeal to all customer segments in the surrounding markets
- Assist with sourcing, hiring, developing, training and motivating a staff of professional service‐orientated staff with support from the General Manager
- Assists in hiring, developing and supervising all key management employees of the property
- Produce daily reports related to games and sales, food and beverage labor costs, inventory etc. for management
- Assists in reconciliation of daily cash, accounts receivable and accounts payable charges
- Assists in overseeing the care and maintenance of the property’s physical assets and facilities
- Perform other duties as assigned as assigned by supervisor or manager
- Manages all aspects of the facility in the absence of the General Manager
- 1‐3 years’ experience in the Hospitality industry
- Must have supervisory, coaching and staff development experience
- Four‐year college degree preferred
- Must have exceptional customer service skills
- PGA Membership or PGA registered apprentice preferred
- Must have proficient in Excel, Access, Word, POS systems
- Must have a strong business aptitude and passion for the customer service industry
- Must be highly motivated, goal driven and self‐starter
- Must be extremely organized, efficient and detail‐oriented
- Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Highly polished interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people easily and quickly
