QA - Data Quality Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Quality Assurance & Data Quality to lead end-to-end testing strategy for Business Intelligence platforms, with a strong focus on Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and automated validation frameworks
. The ideal candidate will drive BI QA automation, implement data quality frameworks, and integrate automated validation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure reporting accuracy, performance, and governance compliance.

• Define and implement enterprise-wide BI QA framework and testing strategy
• Establish data validation, reconciliation, and reporting accuracy standards
• Lead QA planning for dashboards, datasets, semantic models, and data pipelines
• Ensure consistency, traceability, and governance across reporting platforms
• Design and implement Playwright-based UI automation for Power BI reports
• Design automated reconciliation between source systems and Power BI datasets
• Implement data profiling, anomaly detection, and validation rules
• Perform row-level and aggregate-level data accuracy validation
• Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance standards
• Monitor data freshness, completeness, and consistency
• Support testing and validation of Microsoft Fabric components (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, Real-Time Analytics)
• Validate data pipelines, transformations, and semantic models within Fabric
• Ensure Fabric workspace governance, access control, and deployment validation
• Support migration initiatives to Microsoft Fabric
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Factory, Synapse, etc.)
• Experience with visual regression frameworks
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards
• Experience with performance testing tools
