Location: East Brunswick, NJ

Pay: $16–$17 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – East Brunswick is hiring a caring and motivated Preschool Teacher to support our classroom for children ages 3–4. Our preschool program emphasizes school readiness, creativity, early academics, and social‑emotional development through structured routines and play‑based learning.

This position is ideal for an educator who enjoys guiding preschoolers as they build independence, confidence, and foundational learning skills in a positive daycare and preschool environment.

• Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom for preschool‑aged children
• Lead age‑appropriate activities including circle time, early literacy, art, and hands‑on learning
• Encourage positive peer interactions, emotional regulation, and problem‑solving
• Support daily classroom routines such as meals, transitions, rest time, and small‑group activities
• Communicate regularly with families regarding progress, routines, and milestones
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and ensure compliance with New Jersey childcare licensing standards
• Collaborate with co‑teachers and leadership to support classroom success

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience working with preschool‑aged children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework a plus
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
