We are seeking Retail Store Associates to join our team!
As a Gift Boutique Store Associate, you will play a pivotal role in the overall operations of the store. You will be responsible for creating an inviting and enjoyable atmosphere that reflects the boutique's brand image. We are looking for both part-time and full-time associates with exceptional customer service skills. Individuals must be hardworking, energetic, and passionate about all things Under the Carolina Moon.
Our store hours are Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm, and Saturdays, 10 am to 4 pm. We are closed on Sundays.
Compensation will be based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the store's cleanliness, organization, and appearance.
- Provide outstanding customer service, engaging with customers to understand their needs and preferences. Handle inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the boutique's products to assist customers effectively and recommend suitable items.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct stock checks to ensure merchandise availability.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, including Saturdays and holidays.
- Experience in a gift boutique or similar retail environment is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Outgoing personality with a willingness to assist customers.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Flexible to work weekends and extended hours during peak seasons.
- Bilingual skills are beneficial but not required.
Company Description:
Since 1996, Advertising Authorities and Under the Carolina Moon have been providing screen-printed, embroidered, and promotional products to individuals, schools, businesses, and organizations. We own six trademarks that we design and print in-house for our wholesale clients. Our retail store, Under the Carolina Moon, features our shirt designs and other items.
