Overview
Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr.
Position Summary:
Want to make a lot of people’s day? Our Member Frontline Cashier Associates are the heart of our front end. You may be the first, last, and sometimes only associate that members interact with. It’s important to smile, greet, and thank each member. We are looking for friendly faces to run registers and support our members through the self-checkout experience. The pace can be fast, especially in the evenings, on weekends, and during holidays.
You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members: scanning items, processing payments, and maintaining a clean area. It’s hard work, but cashiers find it rewarding as part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.
- Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members
- Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club, answer questions, and assist with purchases
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Assist members with payments and transactions using registers or self-checkout
- Support the storefront by locating merchandise, answering member questions, and guiding self-service technology
- Zoning the area and organizing merchandise
- Maintain safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures (safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, hazardous materials handling, and reporting unsafe situations)
- Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs, supporting purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting products and services
- Assist members with payments, member self-service technology, and transactions
- Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; manage priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; seek improvement opportunities; adapt to change

Customer Service;
Retail experience including operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register); working with mobile retail applications

Benefits are subject to change and eligibility requirements apply. The hourly wage range is $16.00 to $23.00; actual rate is at least the minimum wage for the location. Premiums may apply in specific circumstances.
