Overview
Be part of the Sam's Club Meat Department team. You’ll be on the front-lines of customer service, helping with quality, packaging, and display of meat products. Your attention to detail and steady hand contribute to a positive shopping experience for our members.
The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

What you’ll do- Be a Team Member:
Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and is flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas. - Be an Expert:
Demonstrates knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products according to established standards; cuts boneless meat products; maintains product quality standards. - Be a Techie:
Uses digital tools to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. - Be an Owner:
Maintains operational excellence and work area; ensures quality and date control standards for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policies. - Be a Talent Ambassador:
Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high‑quality service and products; demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion for the work. - Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards; supports Open Door Policy and applies these in business processes.
- Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress; seeks opportunities for improvement; adapts to change and feedback.
