Resident Care Associate - 2nd & 3rd Shift - Full Time, Part Time, & PRN at Viva Senior Living

• Provide the highest quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in assisted living and memory care.
• Provide hands-on care, physical and emotional support as outlined in each resident’s Personalized Service Plan (PSP).
• Maintain a safe, home-like environment; demonstrate wellness elements in accordance with federal, state and local standards and Viva policies.
• Respond to resident call bells promptly and take appropriate action; reset call bells when needed.
• Check residents daily for cleanliness, appropriate clothing, continence issues, and changes in condition; ensure rooms are tidy and beds are made.
• Practice proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
• Assist with laundry in resident rooms and common areas; coordinate with housekeeping for cleanliness and safety of chemicals.
• Complete all activities of daily living (ADLs) for assigned residents per PSP.
• Report issues to the Director of Nursing (DON) as needed.

• Hiring for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts
• PRN - pick shifts up as needed
• Part Time - 25 hours
• Full Time - 40 hours

• High school education preferred and may be required by the state
• Previous experience working with elders preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living, dementia care or skilled nursing preferred
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours
