As our new Product Development Engineer, you will be at the forefront of innovation, designing and developing and system solutions that our global customers depend on. What You’ll Be Doing- You will own the design and development of innovative hydraulic cartridge valves and components, managing projects from initial concept through to production release.
- You will collaborate closely with Sales, Application Engineering, and customers to identify new opportunities and develop customized solutions that solve their unique challenges.
- You will act as a key problem-solver, using methodologies like 8-D and Design of Experiments to enhance product functionality and resolve complex application or production issues.
- You will partner with our Procurement, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to continuously improve product quality
, reduce costs, and streamline production processes. - You will create and manage all necessary technical documentation, including product layouts, 3D models, and detailed drawings using CAD software
.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or a related Engineering field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical component design
. - Proven ability to manage design projects from concept to completion, with strong skills in parametric based CAD software (experience with NX Unigraphics is a plus).
- A solid understanding of core engineering principles, with the ability to perform calculations related to fluid dynamics and spring design
. - Experience using statistical tools or structured methodologies (like 8-D) for problem-solving, combined with a collaborative spirit and strong communication skills.
- Experience with hydraulic systems, valves, or fluid power products is highly preferred.
