What You Will DoAssess Kinship Foster Carers and Special Guardians on behalf of the Directorate.
Undertake viability assessments for proposed Kinship carers and Special Guardians.
Participate in a duty rota for Regulation 24 assessments
.
Complete complex assessment reports for fostering panels and court proceedings.
Ensure high-quality care planning that meets the specific needs of children.
Attend LAC Reviews, Permanency Planning meetings, court hearings, and safeguarding meetings as required.
Manage your allocated workload of assessments in line with Directorate priorities and timescales.
Ensure children’s needs, wishes, and feelings are central to all assessment and planning work.
Work in partnership with internal and external agencies to support planned interventions and service provision.
Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records in line with Ealing’s procedures.
Engage in continuous professional development and training activities.
Contribute to the support and development of social work students
