Dedicated and compassionate Support Worker with experience supporting children and young people in an 16+ residential care settings. Experience in managing challenging behaviour, promoting emotional well-being, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
Skilled in promoting independence, giving advice and encouragement regarding personal care, and building positive relationships.
Holds NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
Trained in safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and de-escalation techniques.

- Emotional and behavioral support
- Child safeguarding and protection
- De-escalation and behaviour management
- Report writing and record-keeping
- Communication with families and professionals
- Promoting independence and self-esteem
Education & Training:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or Health and Social Care with Children & Young People)
- Safeguarding Children Level 2/3
- First Aid and Fire Safety
- Team Teach / MAPA (if applicable)
Salary
15.00 per hour
