Overview
Our client, a reputable educational institution located in Ealing, Greater London, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full‑time 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them reach their full potential.
Responsibilities- Providing one‑on‑one support to students, both in and out of the classroom, to help them engage with the curriculum and achieve their learning goals
- Assisting students with task completion, organisation, and study skills development
- Implementing various learning strategies and techniques, such as multisensory approaches, to cater to the unique needs of each student
- Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to teachers and parents/guardians
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation to track student performance and communicate effectively with the wider support team
- Participating in team meetings, professional development sessions, and other collaborative activities to ensure a consistent and well‑rounded approach to student support
- Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all students under your care
- A relevant degree or diploma in education, special needs, or a related field
- Proven experience (at least 2 years) working as a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the willingness to adjust your approach to meet the unique needs of each student
- A patient, empathetic, and nurturing disposition, with a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of the latest teaching and learning strategies, as well as relevant legislation and best practices in the field of special education
- A valid UK driving licence and the ability to travel within the Ealing area, as required
In return for your dedication and expertise, our client is offering a competitive salary range of £95 – £110 per day, depending on your qualifications and experience. This is a full‑time position based in Ealing, Greater London.
