Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Ealing, West London

Contract: Full-time, long-term

Start: ASAP

We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Ealing looking for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in KS1
. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on SEN experience who knows how powerful patience, consistency and kindness can be.

The school has a calm, inclusive feel and a team that genuinely looks out for one another. You’ll be supporting children with additional needs, helping them feel safe, understood and ready to learn.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting pupils with SEN in a KS1 classroom, both 1:1 and in small groups
  • Helping children access learning through routine, encouragement and clear boundaries
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to keep support consistent
  • Celebrating small wins, because they really do matter
What we’re looking for (Qualifications / Experience)
  • Experience supporting children with SEN, this could be in a school or similar setting
  • A calm, positive approach and bags of empathy
  • Confidence working with KS1 pupils
  • Someone reliable who shows up with care and commitment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
