Level 3 Qualified Room Leader

Responsibilities

• Curriculum Excellence: Design and implement a broad, balanced curriculum that meets the unique interests of every child in your room.
• Staff Management: Direct the daily workflow of your team, ensuring tasks are delegated fairly and everyone remains engaged.
• Observation & Assessment: Oversee the "Key Person" system within your room, ensuring all learning journals are up-to-date and accurate.
• Behavior Modeling: Use positive reinforcement strategies to manage behavior and support children's social and emotional development.
• Compliance: Ensure the room meets all OFSTED requirements, including health and safety checks and risk assessments.

• We are looking for a practitioner who is as organized as they are creative.
• Qualifications: Level 3 Childcare qualification (or higher) is essential.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in an Early Years setting, with a track record of delivering high-quality "Intent, Implementation, and Impact."
• Leadership: Experience supervising others, conducting room meetings, or mentoring junior staff/apprentices.
• Curriculum Knowledge: Expert knowledge of the EYFS, including tracking progress, identifying gaps in learning, and preparing children for their transition to school.
• Attributes: High energy, a "can-do" attitude, and the ability to stay calm and professional during the busy nursery day.
